Wow, it is amazing how time is flying, as we have now reached week six of the college football season. We have also reached October, which is the heart of football season, and where teams seasons are made or broken. This week, we have a good slate of games. Here is how I see some of those panning out.

#6 Penn State at Perdue: This game looks like another easy win for JoPa and company as Penn State continues its rise back to the top. Look for the Nittany Lions to win 35-14.

#13 Auburn vs #19 Vanderbilt: The Vanderbilt Commodores find themselves in a place that they are rarely in, and that is ranked. Vandy will recieve a big test to see if they belong in the top-25. Fortunately, they will face Auburn at home. I like the Commodores to pull a close upset. The score will be something like 21-17.

Kentucky vs #2 Bama: Alabama looks like a very good team, and I don't see them going down this week. Nick Saban and company will win big by a score of 35-14.

Florida State vs Miami: The Noles and Canes renew their rivalry this week. Both teams have had moments where they look good and others where they don't. Florida State picked up a huge win against Colorado in Jacksonville last week and the Canes fell to North Carolina. The Canes looked solid in their win a few weeks ago against Texas AM. This game will be a battle as it usually is. I like FSU in a tough 31-28 type game.

#23 Oregon vs #9 USC: The Trojans are looking to avoid being swept by teams from the State of Oregon as they look to bounce back against the Oregon Ducks. USC will be at home and that is why they will prevail 24-14.

#4 Mizzou vs Nebraska: The Tigers and Cornhuskers will renew their rivalry. This could be a tough game for the surging Tigers, as they will travel to a tough place for a visiting team to play football. They should prevail in a close game by a score of 21-17.

#14 Ohio State vs #18 Wiscy: The Badgers are looking to recover from their loss to the Michigan Wolverines, though will face a tough task against the Ohio State Buckeyes. This game is a toss up. I will take the Buckeyes 11-10.

#12 Florida at Arkansas: The Gators, who many thought were unbeatable went down hard to Mississippi at home last week, and will travel to a tough place to play football to face the Arkansas Razorbacks. Fortunately for Tim Tebow and company, the Razorbacks didn't look good while being pounded by Texas. Tebow and Harvin should rack up big numbers in a 41-7 rout.

Others:#1 Oklahoma over Baylor, #5 Texas over Colorado, #24 UConn over UNC, Fresno over Hawaii, Duke in an upset special over Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech big over Western Kentucky, Maryland over hapless Virginia, Boston College over NC-State, Tennessee barely over Northern Illinois, South Carolina shows the Gators how to beat Mississippi, Michigan over Illinois, Mich-State over Iowa, Minnesota over Indy, Tulane over Army, Marshall over Cincy, West Virginia over Rutgers, Delaware over UMass, Penn over Dartmouth, Jaguars over Steelers, Dodgers over Cubs in three, Phillies over Brewers in 4, Red Sox over Angels in 5, Rays over White Sox in 4.
