The host #16 Tennessee Volunteers routed the LA Lafayette Rajin Cajuns, 89-62, and were ld by Wayne Chism who scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Chism left the game with 5:12 left in the game after suffering a scary injury after landing on his back.

Kentucky rolled past Central Michigan in a tune up game prior to its instate clash with #18 Louisville on Sunday. The Wildcats won 84-52, and were led by Jodie Meeks who scord 23 points, Patrick Patterson with 15 points and nine rebounds.
