Clemson @ Georgia Tech: Clemson has a new coaching staff, and a new energy and they look like a team that could be pretty good in the ACC. Georgia Tech also looks strong with Nisbett and Dwyer and its running game. This game could be very entertaining to watch. I think GT wins a classic at home by a score of 34-24.
'Cuse @ Penn State: Joe Paterno and his Nittany Lions are looking good, and should prevail against Ron Paulus and the Syracuse Orange with no problem. Penn-State wins 45-21/
UNC at UConn: Here is a matchup that would be a classic if this were the College Basketball season, and it looks like an interesting one for football as well. This game is a chance for the Tar Heels to make a statement against a decent Big East foe on the road. UNC wins 24-13.
Troy at Florida: The Gators will take on the Troy Trojans in another tune up game. UF wins 63-14 (Sorry, Ellen).
Iowa at Iowa State: This should be another interesting instate-rivalry game. Look for Iowa to win in a dog fight by a score of 24-14.
Marshall at Virginia Tech: The Hokies are coming off a tough loss to Alabama, however they still look like a very strong team in the ACC. Look for them to win handily over Marshall by a score of 34-14.
Texas at Wyoming: This is a very dangerous game for the second ranked Long Horns, as they travel to Wyoming to face the Cowboys. This has upset written all over it, however I think the Horns will prevail in the end by a score of 28-14.
Idaho State at Oklahoma: The Sooners are with out Sam Bradford, however fortunately for them they don't have a tough opponent and should win big regardless. They still hang 50 in this game.
Notre Dame at Michigan: The Irish are looking good and are looking to make a statement in this rivalry game. A win here, and the Irish will have the nation's attention. Look for the Irish to win a barn burner by a score of 14-13.
Jacksonville State at FSU: The Noles are coming off a tough loss at home to Miami and have alot to prove. Will they come out with fire with a chip on their shoulder? I think Jacksonville State is in for a rough afternoon as the Noles win 65-14.
USC at Ohio State: Here is a matchup between two top 10 teams, which will be a great matchup for the college football fan to watch. Look for the Ohio State Buckeyes to win a thriller at home by a field goal.
South Carolina at Georgia: Should be an interesting SEC matchup. The Bulldogs will be looking to rebound after a tough loss at Ok-State. Spurrier has had his way with Georgia. Should be a dog fight. Look for the host Bulldawgs to win by a field goal and a Spurrier visor toss.
