The new football season is moving right along, as now we head into week three where many teams will be getting into their conference schedule. Here are my predictions.

#14 Georgia Tech at # 20 Miami: This game will be a big prime time game for two ACC schools that are looking to go 2-0 in conference play. Miami is looking for signature win that will give it momentum in its attempt to return to the elite. Georgia Tech has a dangerous offense and they look to prove that they are a top 15 team. Look for Miami to win in a high scoring game at home by a score of 31-28.

#10 Boise State @ Fresno State: Boise State should have no problems going on the road with remaining un beaten. They should win 45-10.

Temple @ #5 Penn State: Joe Paterno has his Nittany Lions playing well this season and they should be able to roll to 3-0. Lions by four touchdowns.

#11 Ohio State @ Toledo: Should be an interesting instate matchup. The Buckeyes are looking to rebound from a tough loss to Southern California against a Toledo team that can produce points. The Rockets would love to hand the Buckeyes its first intrastate loss in 88 years. Look for the big upset on the road as Toledo wins 21-14.

East Carolina vs #24 UNC: Tar Heels struggled against UConn on the road last week as they escaped Storrs with a win. They are looking to avoid the same type of start against In-State rival East Carolina. I think the Tar Heels should win by two touchdowns.

Duke @ #22 Kansas: Whats it with all these basketball matchups during football season? Last week it was UNC at UConn, now its Duke at Kansas. This game won't be anywhere near as entertaining if these two schools roundball teams were to collide. Kansas wins 56-10.

#8 Cal @ Minnesota: Golden Bears looking to roll on the road in Gophen Country. Could be a tough game. Look for Cal to roll 35-12.

#3 USC @ Washington: The Trojans will begin their journey for their eighth straight Pac-10 title as they travel to Washington. The Huskies should prove to be no problem as USC should roll by at least two touchdowns.

Tennessee @ #1 Florida: Finally the Gators face a real foe! However fortunately for them, Tennessee's offense really is not that good and Urban Myer, Tebow and company are pretty annoyed by Lane Kiffen's comments. This game could get ugly for the Vols. Gators win 59-14.

FSU @ #7 BYU: The Noles are looking to shake off a dismal start where they lost a heartbreaker to Miami and nearly got upset at home verses Jacksonville State. They want to prove that the start was a fluke. They will have their hands full with Max Hall, who is a very good passer. With a defense that has struggled, Im removing my garnet and gold glasses and predicting my Noles to fall in a shoot out by a score of 41-31.

#19 Nebraska @ #13 VT: Here is a matchup between two teams looking for respect. The Hokies lost a heartbreaker to Alabama two weeks ago and would love to get a signature win against a solid Huskers team who is another team looking to return to the elite. Look for the Hokies to win a thriller at home by a score of 21-17.
