The football season sure is flying by, as we are now to Halloween and week nine of the football season. There are several entertaining games, including the world's largest cocktail party. Also the World Series starts this week, and I will make my prediction for the fall classic. Here we go.

Georgia vs #1 Florida: The Gators and Bulldogs meet in Jacksonville in what is one of the nation's premier rivalries. On paper, one would think that Florida should win big, however the Gators have been struggling offensively against the likes of Arkansas and Mississippi State. This game has upset special written all over it, though Tebow is tough in big games. Look for the Gators to come out on top by a touchdown.

#5 Cincinnati vs 'Cuse: Pike or not, the Bearcats continue to make their case for a spot in the BCS Championship game. Look for Cincy to roll on the road against 'Cuse by at least three touchdowns.

North Carolina vs #14 Virginia Tech: For the second week in a row, the Tar Heels will play on Thursday night. They will travel to Blacksburg for a big game against the Virginia Tech Hokies. While VT's National Championship hopes may be gone, they can still play for a spot in the ACC Championship game. Despite one of the top defenses in the nation, the Tar Heels have been disappointing in 2009. I think the Hokies prevail late by a score of 24-14.

#4 USC vs #10 Oregon: Oregon is looking very good and this will be a huge game between two Pac-10 teams who are both ranked in the top 10. This is a very dangerous game for the Trojans. Look for Oregon to win at home in a thriller by a field goal.

Tulane vs #9 LSU: Look for the Tigers to win big at home against in-state rival Tulane 56-10.

#18 Miami vs Wake Forest: The Miami Hurricanes are looking to bounce back after being upset at home in overtime by Kyle Parker and the Clemson Tigers. They should do just that, as Wake Forest doesn't look good at all, as they lost at home to Navy of all teams. Jacory Harris and company win by at least three touchdowns.

#3 Texas vs #13 OK-State: This game will be a big road test for Colt McCoy and the Longhorns. Both teams are undefeated in conference play. Texas has not lost to the Cowboys since October 4, 1997. Look for an entertaining game, with the Horns winning late by a touchdown.

NC-State at Florida State: Christian Ponder has the offense rolling for the Seminoles, as they are coming off a big win on the road against UNC in Chapel Hill. Look for the Noles to win in high scoring affair by a score of 59-35.

Others: West Virginia over South Florida, Iowa over Indiana, Houston over Souther Miss, Boise State over San Jose St, Ole Miss over Auburn, Oklahoma over K-State, Utah over Wyoming, Tennessee over South Carolina, Ohio State over New Mexico State, Nebraska over Baylor, Kansas over Texas Tech, Colorado over Mizzou, Iowa State over Tex A&M, Duke over UVa, GT over Vandy, Boston College over Central Michigan, Clemson over Coastal Carolina, Penn State over NW, Minnesota over Mich State, Michigan over Illinois, Purdue over Wiscy, Notre Dame over Wash State, Oregon State over UCLA, Cal over ASU, TCU over UNLV, Troy over LA Monroe, Delaware over James Madison. Penn over Brown, Dartmouth over Harvard, JU over Drake.

World Series Pick: Phillies over Yankees in seven
